Serenade

Serenade, an abstract sculpture carved from Carrara white marble, is comprised of a series of arcs and curves reflecting an explosive tension between the convex and concave. These elements come together, unified in movement, reaching and and bowing simultaneously, while the crystalline vibrancy of the Carrara marble lends both power and a quiet balance.  This vital dance of form and material creates the core of the sculpture, extending outward gestures like open arms, inviting the viewer into its folds.
