Velo

Velo is a form that holds space without confining it, inviting a closer examination, much like noticing a shadow or movement from the corner of your eye. Its shape seems to almost open and unfold. The marble evokes the warmth of flesh or the blooming of a flower, gently releasing its hold on becoming. There is a sense of movement so slow that it cannot be seen, only felt. Velo attracts your gaze and maintains it, both holding and containing your attention.
