Works

Richard Erdman makes abstract forms in bronze and a small variety of stone, most notably Carrara white marble, which is his first love. With endless respect for the deep time of its geologic origins, he has worked for more than 35 years in close proximity to the legendary quarries of Carrara, Italy — a source of raw material shared by Michelangelo. “In the sublime beauty of stone,” says Richard, “there are worlds of possibility and wonder.”
